In a futuristic restaurant shrouded in mystery, the murder of a star vixen sends shockwaves through the patrons. Suspicion falls on Blythe, a colleague of the deceased with a hidden agenda. As Detective Hyde investigates, his obsession with Blythe blinds him to the truth. Unraveling a web of lies, Hyde's power trip reaches its climax when he reveals himself as the true orchestrator of the killings and is playing a deadly game of manipulation in his bedroom, As illusions shatter and truths emerge, the line between reality and fantasy blurs in a thrilling battle of wits.

Key Theme: The key theme of this story revolves around the dangers of unchecked power and the consequences of obsession in any shape or form. It explores how the pursuit of control and manipulation can lead to destruction and the consequences of sin more particularly unchecked pride, as characters become consumed by their desires and lose sight of morality. The story also delves into the blurred lines between reality and fantasy, highlighting the dangerous allure of living in a world of illusions.

“In crafting this film, my aim was to delve into the complexities of human nature and the intricacies of relationships. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences, gaming, and the world around me, I sought to explore themes of power and obsession. Through the lens of our characters, I hope to provoke thought, evoke emotion, and ultimately spark conversations about the universal truths that bind us all together. This project has been a labor of love, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share it with audiences, inviting them to embark on this journey of self-discovery and reflection alongside our characters.”

Producing this film has been an extraordinary experience of collaboration. Our director, Siphumelele, brought a clear vision and profound sensitivity to the storytelling process. The talented cast, led by Thabiso Maphumulo, breathed life into their characters, while our dedicated crew ensured every aspect of production ran smoothly, from pre-production planning to the final edit.

Like any film production, we faced our share of challenges. Whether it was navigating tight schedules, managing limited resources, or overcoming unforeseen obstacles, each challenge was met with resilience and creativity. These experiences have not only strengthened our problem-solving skills but also underscored the importance of adaptability and perseverance in filmmaking.

Occupation: Unemployed, but creates a persona as a detective

Background: Ndumiso grew up as an orphan, facing the world with a sense of superiority and self-assurance. Despite his lack of tangible success, he holds onto a belief in his own infallibility and control over his surroundings. Ndumiso studied a degree related to criminology, aspiring to become a detective, but his inability to find work led him to escape

into a fantasy world where he embodies the persona of Detective Hyde.

Detective Hyde exudes pride and arrogance, walking with an air of authority and superiority. He sees himself as the hero of his own story, particularly in relation to Blythe, whom he views as a damsel in distress in need of his protection and guidance. However, his inflated ego blinds him to the reality that Blythe is independent and does not need to be saved by him.
